While we would be glad to provide you with a written prescription, you should be aware that Internet-based pharmacies often obtain their medications from sources other than the actual manufacturer, from various unknown and unaccountable "black market" sources.

In fact, it is illegal for them to obtain some of the medications directly in the U.S., so illegal third-party sources are often the only means to fill such prescriptions.

Veterinary drug companies will not sell, guarantee, or warranty medications sold through these Internet pharmacies.

Your veterinarians at Animal Medical Center are uncomfortable with these Internet-based pharmacies, particularly since they have been repeatedly charged fines for illegal drug sales. To avoid any potential doctor-patient confidentiality issues, we do not communicate with discount houses.
